2011 GMC Acadia Review

GMC Acadia Announces New 2011. It is GMC's first crossover, offer a good experience, agile handling, an athletic design, spacious interiors and a complete security package for the vehicle segment of the fastest growing in the United States.

Acadia is GMC designed to meet the professional standards body-frame integral (BFI) structure that is reinforced high-strength steel. It will run on a long wheelbase, wide track - a combination of a lower center of gravity and enables agile, stable ride and handling.
 


Reflexes Acadia 's driving are supported by front and rear suspension independent. The front suspension has a MacPherson strut design and a direct-acting stabilizer bar and aluminum steering rockets. Isolated mounting points to reduce noise and vibration. The rear suspension uses a compact, state-of-the-art linked "H" design, which has an isolated mounting system that reduces noise and vibration in the cabin.
 


Acadia features standard with a better rack and pinion steering, steering effort variables available. StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with rollover mitigation technology and traction control are standard on all models.

Available, an intelligent all-wheel drive provides added traction on slippery roads and other driving situations - such as Freeway ramps - where increased traction would enhance handling. Efficient powertrain

Acadia is powered by GM's 3.6-liter V-6 with variable valve timing (VVT), which was designed for good fuel economy, low emissions and exceptional smoothness. Acadia can tow up to 4500 pounds (2041 kg) when properly equipped, and is available in both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models.
