2010 Volvo Sport Cars Air Motion Concept

2010 Volvo Sport Cars Air Motion Concept
At the Los Angeles Design Challenge Competition, Volvo took the open-air experience at a whole new level with its lighter than a Formula 1 racing car study project the Volvo Air Motion. Besides its strong yet ultra-light body structure, the Air Motion concept cars vehicle further adds to its superlatives eco-friendliness, as it is not using a single drop of gasoline while driving wild.
Volvo Air Motion is a sports cars that runs on powerful, yet simple compressed air motors that, unlike an internal combustion engine, cools down under load rather than heat up. The air tank is centrally mounted and receives compressed air through wind-powered air replenishment sites that float 1000ft in the air. Its beautiful Scandinavian body is designed like a clam shell and sculptured from ultra light carbon fiber.

Tipping the scales at under 1,000 pounds (453 kg), the Volvo Air Motion Concept is lighter than a Formula One car and employs a similar open-wheel configuration.
2010 Volvo Sport Cars Air Motion Concept
The 2010 Volvo Sport Cars Air Motion Concept was developed around the idea that minimizing the weight and complexity means maximizing driving enjoyment. Volvo built the cars with fewer components and replaced the heavy internal combustion engine with powerful, yet simple, compressed air motors.
To compress the air needed for the centrally mounted air tank, Air Replenishment Sites are used. Powered by air turbines floating 1,000ft in the air they harness the power of the wind and convert it to electricity to provide the compression. The motors cool down with increased load, instead of heating up, which eliminates the need for cooling systems. The chassis, interior and suspension employ an integrated design which brings a notable contribution to the lowered weight.
Aimed at the driving enthusiast, by a company synonymous with safety and environmental care, the Volvo Air Motion Concept demonstrates the beauty and purity of Scandinavian design and delivers a guilt free, raw driving experience.

Rossin Bertin Vorax Sports Cars Concept

Rossin Bertin Vorax Sports Cars Concept
The first ever Brazilian sports cars was recently unveiled at the 2010 Sao Paulo auto show in Brazil and its name Rossin-Bertin Vorax. Manufacturers of Rossin Bertin Vorax went for a healthy diet for a motor that must ensure their supercars just the V10 engine of the BMW M5.
The car itself is a dramatic and menacing looking coupe (a convertible is to follow later). The lines are fairly unique, and Rossin has done a good job of making the car look different from most other generic supercar prototypes. It features a carbon fiber body over an aluminum chassis, cradling the Bavarian ten-pot in two states of trim: naturally aspirated with 570 horsepower, or supercharged with 750.

The standard V10 version accelerates up to 62mph in 3.8-second and has a top speed of 205mph (329km/h). The supercharged motor has a better acceleration time of 3.6 and its 180 extra horsepower pushes the car up to a much higher top speed of 231mph (371km/h).
The two men behind the Vorax are CEO and designer Fharys Rossin and (presumably lead investor) Natalino Bertin Jr. The former is a 37-year-old ex-GM designer and the latter is the 29-year-old, car-mad heir to the Bertin Group of slaughterhouses. Mr. Rossin wanted to build a supercar that could compete with the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche; a heady goal.

Bankrolled by meat industry scion Natolino Bertin, Jr. and realized by former General Motors designer Fharys Rossin, the Rossin Bertin Vorax Sports Cars Concept coupe is targeted to hit the market late 2011 or early 2012.
Production of the Vorax coupe will begin at a proposed plant in Blumenau, Brazil in late 2011 or early 2012. A convertible is set to follow twelve months later. Rossin-Bertin expect to sell between 500 and 1,000 Voraxes for around R$700,000 (US$409,836) each. In addition, in 2013, Rossin-Bertin plans to launch a series of open-source version Vorax.

Incepto Sports Cars Concept by Azerbaijani Designer Samir Sadikhov

The future concept cars coming out these days are just spectacular. Sports cars are out of the range, this is the Incepto, new design trends and styling language, Azerbaijani designer Samir Sadikhov has come up with a sports cars concept that combines luxury and performance in a single vehicle.
Incepto Sports Cars Concept by Azerbaijani Designer Samir Sadikhov
The first photo is the cars in a red and black design. Hailed as Incepto, the two-seater presents an aerodynamic body, especially the glass-covered rear wheels, to ensure minimal wind resistance and better controls at high speeds. Developed for the year 2020, the sportscar includes a dramatic center-vertical exhaust to tout an astonishing design language.
The smooth, curvy exterior of the Incepto is equally supported by an elegant and comfortable interior. Incepto Sports Cars Concept by Azerbaijani Designer Samir Sadikhov photos it is eloquent of the writer to describe the design as language. There are many medium a speaker can use to communicate. Taking the time to imagine, sketch, plan and create a concept is a very high level of communication that most think only scientists or mathematicians can reach.
Fortunately the design world is for the simplicity on this chaotic oblate sphere(Earth). Therefore all the complicated terms have no meaning for the consumer. Words that we like to hear are easy to use, comfortable, efficient, smooth and classy. The design sounds just breathtaking and so are the photos.
A concept car, designed by Samir Sadikhov, proves an amazing dexterity of a Student cum designer with a vision to build a futuristic two-seated, sporty and a luxurious sports car. He has also been able to successfully combine a enhanced aerodynamic approach by covering the rear wheels by glass and an unusual central-vertical exhaust, which is perfectly radically designed, converting his self-branded limited dream-car into a successful final product.

Though Incepto has a radical design which is different from many other designs and concept cars there is a portion of impracticality which can be refined for its better secured future.

2010 BF-performance Lamborghini Gallardo GT600 Sports Car

In the Swiss city Zug, perfection has a different meaning than in the Italian town SantAgata Bolognese. While Lamborghini is satisfied with the Gallardo LP560-4, the Swiss have higher demands at least the engineers at BF-performance.

For them, the Gallardo is too innocent and neither dynamic nor individual enough. Therefore, they turn both the Coup and also the Spyder into the GT600 which has a stronger performance, more self-confidence and looks more aggressive.
2010 BF-performance Lamborghini Gallardo GT600
Swiss tuning firm BF-performance, based in the wonderfully named city of Zug, have developed a comprehensive modification package for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. And in the process they've also renamed it the GT600.

Not content with just making some pretty bits to stick onto the Gallardo LP560-4, the engineers at BF-performance also developed a number of performance enhancements and modification options for the drivetrain. Most significant is the option for a RWD only configuration - just like on the Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni edition. In total the other modifications have also rendered a weight reduction of 43 kgs (95 lbs) which further improves performance.

The new body panels, marked out by the fact they're finished in clearcoated carbon fiber, are all situated around the bottom of the car. The BF-perfomance GT600 gets a new front bumper - which is similar in style to the original car's, wider race-inspired sideskirts, and a rather obvious fixed rear spoiler. The rear wing, which provides a significant improvement in downforce over the rear axle, is actually quite fetching and it suits the lines of the car very well indeed.

The wing doors render a significant amount of individuality, but are strictly limited to Lamborghini models with twelve-cylinder engines. Due to the refinement by BF-performance, also the GT600 with a V10 engine can be equipped with doors which are so typical for Lamborghini.

And of course the engineers also focused on the engine performance. BF-performance has confirmed the performance of the new automobile in an impressive race. On the Sachsenring round course, the GT600 even managed to beat the stronger Lamborghini Murcilago LP640-4 SV by an impressive lead of 0.6 seconds.

The interior also follows this dynamic maxim. Apart from the sports bucket seats, BF-performance also offers five-point belts, a roll-over cage and a carbon-ceramic braking system with which the GT600 meets the highest racing standards. BF-performance visually adjusts the interior to the increased dynamics. The manufactory uses carbon on the steering wheel, door handles, ventilation grids and even at the switch casings. The customer can even opt for carbon in his favourite colour.
BF-performance offers the entire car with all components either as the sporty Coup GT600 or also as the Roadster GT600 Spyder.
2010 BF-performance Lamborghini Gallardo GT600
The entire automobile confirms the perfection and passion for detail applied by BF-performance. The Lamborghini specialist has already gained experience with the predecessor model and now brings its art of engineering into perfection with the GT 600. Also Lamborghinis design development confirms the talents of BF-performance, as the Swiss specialist is always one step ahead of the Italian manufacturer.
